Walla Walla Soaring would like to give you the opportunity to spread your wings and glide over the Walla Walla Valley! Experience Extraordinary!

Walla Walla Valley, a charming region of vineyards and farm fields, is surrounded by the Blue Mountains in the east and southeast, Palouse Hills to the north and northeast, a myriad of long ridges continuing south and southwest with the Columbia and Snake Rivers in the west and northwest: a sailplane pilots dream?  Travis has his commercial pilot’s license since 1975, being a CGIF since 1979; the desire to share his love of soaring by offering glider rides and instruction coupled with Susan’s long term interest in starting her own business and new found love of aviation became Walla Walla Soaring.  We invite you to come soar above the valley, catch the thermals and head to the mountains for a bit of ridge soaring.  For those with experience, how about heading out of the Valley, maybe south toward the Wallowa Mountains for some wave soaring?  Fly or drive in; we offer aeroretrieval as well as tow services from Martin Field.

Our glider will take a 90-220 pound passenger. Prescheduling is highly recommended to ensure a timely experience.
